The Indigo Design studio features both ends of the design and printing spectrum: at one end, two presses from the 1800s, all cast iron and oiled joints, along with all of the old type, inks, quoins and keys and other sundries that allow us to add elegant letterpress printing to some of our work.

At the other end, quod macs, monitors larger than most people's TVs, and the constant warming glow of the modern internet, along with the full Adobe Create Suite and other invaluable software tools to ply our trade.

How much things have changed between those pieces of equipment, and how much they remain the same, as well. Every font ever designed in lead is now either available, or will be in some variation, digitally. And now, any of the more than 40,000 typefaces Indigo owns can be set for letterpress printing when we desire it.

At Indigo we have a real love and respect for the past, and a joy about what we're doing now, today, for our clients. There simply isn't anyone having more fun. It wouldn't be possible.
